“Do not fear a sudden threat, nor the storm of the wicked. They will plot but it will be spoiled; they will plan but it will not come to be; for the Holy One is with us” ~Esther Rabbah 7:17

Very often our problem is that we think too much. We complicate that which is simple. Yeshua spoke His Yoke is easy and His burden is light. Yet we let the problems that confront us overwhelm us that we forget to keep the “fire” on the altar continually burning, we let it grow dim. At times it may seem we will never escape the darkness.
Learning from past experiences would help. Simple solutions come about by Divine Intervention. Look at a child, each new child is a pure neshamah (soul), they have simple faith and trust. A child’s prayer is so precious. We should learn from them.

The Torah Portion this week, Tzav, contains the orders for the sacrificial service for Aaron and his sons. We see in Vayikra (Leviticus) 7:11, ‘And this is the Torah of the slaughtering of peace offerings which is brought to the Holy One:’. [Blessed be the name of the Holy One!] Peace Offering in the Hebrew text comes from the verb root shalam, שלם, pronounced shaw-lam. Meaning to make amends, make an end, finish, full, give again, make good, repay again; to be safe(in mind, body, or estate), to be complete. This offering, keep in mind, is a korban, something that draws you near. The instructions for this offering continue to the end of Chapter 7. Let’s look at a few of the particulars of these commands:
~This offering is a shared offering. Such as the Passover Lamb, it is shared by the worshipper and the priesthood. It was a freewill offering. The person bringing the offering must bring it with his own hands. NO ONE CAN DO IT FOR YOU!.
~The thanksgiving peace offering is know as the todah,  pronounced to-daw,  and means thanksgiving. Todah originates from the word yadah, ידה, pronounced yaw-daw, meaning to throw, cast, confess, give thanks, giving praise, or glorify. Yadah is first found in Genesis 29:35 when Leah gives birth to her youngest son; ‘And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now I praise (yadah) the Holy One.” So she called his name Yehuda (Judah).’ Our Messiah comes from this very line of praise!
~The Torah stipulates here that the meat and bread of the thanksgiving-offering, todah, must be eaten on the same day on which it is brought. Thus the person offering this, would invite a large number of people to join them in giving thanks. It was a celebration for all to enjoy, a feast!
~The offering was void if not eaten before the third day, pointing to the three days Yeshua spent in the depths of the earth.
~The fat or the blood could not be eaten or that persons soul would be cut off. The fat and the blood were reserved for the altar, for the Holy One. The blood contains the active life force of the animal and the fat symbolizes it’s inactive physical existence. Blood is “Most Holy”, it could not even be removed from Sanctuary. Holy must stay within the walls of Holiness. This goes back to the Garden. Man lived inside the boundaries of the garden until the fall. Once they sinned they could not remain.
All through the Psalms we find songs of joy concerning the thanksgiving offering:
Let them give thanks to the Holy One for His kindness, And His wonders to the children of men! And let them bring slaughterings of thanksgiving, And relate His works with rejoicing. ~Psalm 107: 21-22

Raise a shout to the Holy One, All the earth! Serve the Holy One with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Holy One, He is Elohim;  He has made us, and we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,  and into His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him; bless His Name. For the Holy One is good; His kindness is everlasting, And His truth, to all generations. ~Psalms 100

Yeshua  is the picture of this very Todah offering. Look at the order of the sacrificial service. First the sin offering, next the guilt offering, the big finish〰the shalom. Not only is this order a vision of relationship between the Holy One and man, but demonstrates the man – man relationship as well. When one is to dine at the Holy One’s table, to draw near, to offer all you are to Him, you must have peace. If you are not at peace with the Holy One, you are not at peace. If you spend your day searching for comfort in a material world, you cannot have peace. “There is no shalom ,” says the Holy One , “for the wicked.” ~Isaiah 48:22

For if, while we were yet enemies, we were reconciled to the Holy One through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by His life. Romans 5:10

Only he who is at peace can make a peace offering. Before we can draw near we must deal with the obstacles in life. Authentic faith, our prayers, and our genuine repentance is the only we can draw near. Yeshua spells out the order of the sacrificial service in Matthew 5:22-24;

But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘ Raca ’ shall be subject to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be subject to fiery Gehenna. “Therefore if you are presenting your offering upon the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.”

May you have peace with your fellow man and the Holy One, by keeping your mind and hearts near to His Torah, it’s All about Yeshua! He offers Everlasting Shalom to all who draw near.

Happy day,

? Hallelujah Girl
