Does His Ring Hurt Your Finger?

This week we study the portion of Torah titled Ha’azinu (Deuteronomy 32) meaning, “Give ear”.  Moses, after around 37 days of this great oratory he is giving to the nations, decides to sing a song ~The Song of Moses.  He begins his song by calling heaven and earth as his witnesses as he proclaims the Holy One’s Name! Moses ascribes greatness to G-d, calls Him “The Rock”, describes Him as “perfect” and “blameless” in His works, declares his Ways “just”, that He is faithful, righteous, and upright and without iniquity.
Moses proceeds to call the people to “remember ” and “understand” the years across generations~ this means this message is for all of us–Today! Why are we to remember?  Because he knew there would be backsliding, that people would stray and question the Holy One’s Ways.
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob created us for the Bridegroom King, He chose us, placed a ring upon our finger. So does His ring hurt your finger? Have you taken it off? Do you squirm or struggle against His Love, His Shabbat, His Appointed times,  His Mitzvot (commandments), and His Mishpatim (ordinances) of Torah?
Yeshua speaks about the Kingdom of Heaven being compared to a king who made a wedding feast for his son in Matthew 22.  Everything was ready, but those invited were off doing their own things.  So the king sent his servants to invite “worthy” guests. “Many are called, but few are chosen” (Matt. 22:14)~ For without the appropriate wedding garments, the “friend” who came to the Feast was bound and thrown out into the outer darkness.
The true words of the Holy One,  “How fortunate are those who have been invited to the wedding banquet of the Lamb.” (Rev.19:9) Just as the Children of Israel, after purifying themselves and washing their garments, approached Mt. Sinai and there was a sound of thundering and lightening,  a thick cloud, and the blast of an exceedingly loud shofar (Exodus 19).  Likewise the scene in Revelation 19 at the wedding of the Lamb, the bride was given fine linen to wear, bright and clean! And that fine linen is her righteous deeds as described in His Torah.
As we approach Yom Kippur, take the time to “remember”. The Angels in heaven are singing the “Song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb,” saying:
“Great and wonderful are Your deeds, Adonai Elohei-Tzva’ot ! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations! Who shall not fear and glorify Your name, O Lord? For You alone are Holy. All the nations shall come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed!” -Revelation 15:3‭-‬4

Happy day!

Hallelujah Girl!
