The Holy One uses His Words, Torah,  as His Tools to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth. From the very beginning He created a garden where the man and woman He created, walked and talked together. The question becomes will you use them, the words, of Torah? The Holy One can and will find someone else, if not. Who’s team are you on? Or do you tend to be like the spoiled child that likes things their own way?
Do you hunger and thirst for G-d to dwell in your life, in your marriage, in your home, in your family, in your community, in your city, in your Nation? Or, would you like to be in charge?
The Holy One knows each one of us and He continues to be full of joy and anticipation and love for what He created. Read Psalm 139!
We are called to be people with lovely tents. “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob, and your dwellings, O Israel!” ~Numbers 24:5
Remember, in chapter 1 Moses was commanded to “Lift the heads” (take a census) of the Children of Israel. Now colorful flags and banners will be placed according to Divine Order!

The Bnei Yisrael (Children of Israel) shall encamp, each man under his own degel (standard, banner), with the otot (ensigns) of the bais (house) of their avot (fathers); some distance from it, around the Ohel Mo’ed (Tent of Meeting) must they encamp. [see Joshua 3:4] Bamidbar (Numbers)2:2

Each man with his own banner, his own standard of his father’s household. Gives new meaning to Luke 9:23, “Then Yeshua was saying to everyone, “If anyone wants to follow Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross every day, and follow Me.”  You might have been led to think taking up one’s cross is filled with distress, pain and suffering. Yeshua was the one who pushed this crucifixion action forward. “For the joy set before Him, He endured the tree (cross), disregarding its shame; and He has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of God.“ ~Hebrews 12:2. In the Greek airo (take up) is a word meaning take off, I raise, lift up, or lift from the ground in order to carry. Cross in the Greek is stauros (stow-os). Stauros and histemi (to make a stand) come from the same root, “stao”(stah-o) meaning establish, stand by, covenant, bring, appoint, or abide.

LIFT UP THE COVENANT ~ LIFT UP YOUR BANNER ~ TAKE UP YOUR CROSS

I believe it’s time to pick your team! Newcomers are always welcome In the Wilderness (Bamidbar)! “Raise up the Covenant”, or “Take up your cross” The Holy One will accomplish what He set out to do. It’s a narrow path, but you will love the blessings! Happy day!
